4 boneless pork chops
salt and pepper for seasoning
1/2 onion thinly sliced
1/2 cup mayonnaise 50g
3/4 cup cheddar cheese shredded 60g
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Place pork chops in a baking pan. Season with salt, pepper on both sides.
Sprinkle the onion on top of the pork. Spread mayonnaise on each pork chop. Top with shredded cheese.
Bake for 25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and browned.
Experiment with different cheeses to give this dish a little something different. We like Parmesan, swiss, and smoked mozzarella.
You may need to cook the chops a bit longer depending on thickness. Cook to 145 degrees F.
